Visual Arts & Performing Arts

At BSFCS, we believe in nurturing our students' minds and hearts through the arts' transformative power. Our school is dedicated to nurturing the creative spirit and fostering a deep appreciation for the arts within each student. Through our Visual Arts & Performing Arts(VAPA) program, students, parents, and staff paint a masterpiece of creativity and inspiration!

Students perform the play Moana Jr.

With our comprehensive and immersive Artist-In-Residence program, we ensure that every student is exposed to and actively engaged in both visual and performing arts during their school day.

Each spring, our community comes together to celebrate our students' unique talents in our much-anticipated Variety Show. This lively event serves as a testament to the creativity and diversity that define our school, showcasing a myriad of skills ranging from music and dance to theater and more. It's a moment of collective pride and joy as we revel in the extraordinary talents of our students.

For those inclined toward the melodic beauty of string instruments, our strings in school elective program offers a perfect avenue for exploration and mastery. Our dedicated instructors guide students through an enriching musical journey, helping them develop a profound understanding and appreciation for the art of string performance.

One of the highlights of our annual calendar is the spectacular school play, a cherished tradition that unites our students and community in a shared love for theater. Showcasing impeccable costumes, captivating music, and stellar performances, our past productions have included enchanting renditions such as Moana Jr. This year, we are thrilled to present our rendition of Newsies Jr., set to perform at the Clark Theater in February.
