Blue Forum (6th Grade)

Welcome to Blue Forum! In sixth grade, students travel to distant lands as they explore ancient civilizations through various simulations, project-based learning opportunities, and unique experiences.

Sixth graders will also read a selection of literature, poetry, and plays offering a variety of perspectives to help grow their understanding of their world, themselves, and others. Each reading will provide an opportunity to write in a variety of forms.

In mathematics, students will be immersed in the skills and competencies of the sixth-grade standards through an array of practice opportunities.

As part of our VAPA program, sixth-graders get the special privilege of weekly guitar lessons taught by a local musician and guitar teacher. Of course, there is also our week-long trip to science education camp on Catalina Island, a yearly highlight and lifetime memory.
