Welcome to Bellevue Santa Fe Charter School, where the spirit of volunteerism is at the heart of our community! Parent involvement plays a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students, and we offer a variety of opportunities for parents to get involved.

At Bellevue, we value the culture of volunteerism and appreciate our parents' incredible contributions to enriching the learning environment for all our students. Many of the programs that make our school so special depend on the dedication and commitment of our parent volunteers.

Programs such as Visual Arts & Performing Arts (VAPA), the Annual Play, Library, SciTechatorium, and the Garden are all made possible through the efforts of our parent volunteers. These programs provide unique opportunities for our students to explore their creativity, engage in hands-on learning, and develop a love for various disciplines.

Our Visual Arts & Performing Arts (VAPA) program brings local artists to perform for our students and coordinates student performance programs like the annual Variety Show. The Annual Play, a beloved school tradition, requires the support of parent volunteers for practices, stage design, and costumes.

The Library is managed entirely by parent volunteers who help open and manage it before school and during lunchtime and assist with regular updates, fundraising, and special events such as Read Across America Week.

The SciTechatorium, an on-campus museum focused on Science and Technology, provides a space for our students to engage in STEAM-based disciplines. The museum requires three adult volunteers to be open to students during lunch on Mondays and Fridays. When we do not have enough volunteers, we are unable to make the SciTech available to our students.

Our Garden, a magical and expansive space where students actively participate in growing food, also relies on parent volunteers to assist during garden class. Parent volunteers help pull weeds, harvest, or plant during monthly Garden Party events. Volunteers also help with garden improvement projects.

In addition to these programs, parent volunteers take ownership of campus beautification, fundraising, yearbook production, and staff appreciation events. Without our parent volunteers' dedication and hard work, these essential functions that make our school a vibrant and thriving community would not exist.

Your commitment to school volunteerism not only contributes to the success of your child's education but is also an integral part of our close-knit community. Together, we all create a truly exceptional learning environment for our students.
