Governing Board Candidate Statement

Julie Stellpflug

I appreciate the parents of BSFCS considering me as a candidate for the Parent Representative of the Governing Board. Our family feels incredibly fortunate to be a part of the BSFCS community and look forward to being invested here for many years to come. Our son Gavin is in Purple Forum and his brother Asher (3) attends a local preschool. Over the past few years, I have enjoyed volunteering in the classrooms, coordinating field trips and assisting as Home Room Coordinator.  It has been a fulfilling experience spending time with the students, teachers and parents at our amazing little school.

Currently I work with my husband in our dental practice managing the daily operations of our business. I have 20 years of experience in Business Management, Human Resources and Sales/Marketing in the Healthcare industry.  My professional experience has taught me the importance of embracing change to support continuous improvement. I am hopeful to be a source of balance and support in approaching issues and developing strategies in the upcoming term.  My overall objective is to represent your ideas and insights related to methods on how we can continue to enhance the learning experience for our children.
