Homework Page

Students can expect from 40 minutes to 1 hour of homework each night Monday through Thursday in addition to their home reading time (20 minutes). Homework activities are designed to reinforce new skills, extend the learning , or provide enrichment. It also serves as a vital part of learning good study habits for the years to come. On Mondays, students will receive a weekly home sheet listing assignments that will be due throughout the week. Many of the assignments will be scheduled on a regular basis so that students and parents will know what to expect each day of the week. Some assignment may be added on a day to day basis reflecting work to be carried over from our daily work. On Friday of each week your child will need to return the assignment sheet, signed by you, along with any work still due. This will help us all stay up-to-date on communication about assignments and projects. Please assist your child by establishing a comfortable and consistent routine for daily homework.
