Welcome our web page!  Blue Forum is a multiage classroom of 2nd and 3rd grade students. Students stay in Blue Forum for two years, with the 2nd graders becoming the next year's 3rd graders.

 

The instruction in Blue Forum centers on a standards-based, individualized curriculum.  Students work on the same activities at the same time, but work at their own levels.

 

Most of our work is project-based.  Work centers on a theme (usually science or social studies related), and then the theme weaves itself through all parts of the curriculum. At the end of a unit, students are required to complete a project that incorporates certain aspects of what they have learned about the subject.
