DRESS CODE
It is expected that
students will attend school in appropriate attire that will allow them to:
· participate fully in the day’s activities
· focus attention on their responsibility as learners.
Adherence to our
dress code will foster student’s self-respect and demonstrate parent and
student support for our charter school’s expectations and philosophy.
The following
guidelines will help you determine whether the clothing is functional and
appropriate.

it functional (PEACOCK, Ag-Grow, playground?)

it appropriate (focus is on learning, not fashion)
The staff reserves the right to determine and restrict
unbecoming styles.
If a student is dressed or
groomed inappropriately, parents may be called to bring a change of clothes or
to take the student home to change clothes. Violations of the dress guidelines
will result in incremental disciplinary action.
