Family and Community Involvement

Classroom Volunteering

Every day at Bellevue-Santa Fe, parents/guardians, grandparents and other community members can be found working on campus—in the classrooms, the SciTech, the library, the garden and many other places. Volunteers are an essential and highly valued part of our school.

Parents are also directly involved in policy and decision-making. Three parents serve on the seven-member school Governing Board that oversees budget and policy decisions. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend the Governing Board meetings to stay up-to-date on school policies and have a chance to voice input and concerns.

In addition, family and community members are actively involved in a wide spectrum of other committees, ranging from short term projects to strategic planning.
